one of the fringe benefits of being with a filmmaker is i get exposed to independent films that i wouldn't otherwise watch.. i've seen so many beautiful, interesting, and compelling pieces this year at festivals, in our home, at special screenings. the film community is full of rich, innovative, and forward thinking artists who truly care about this craft. witnessing their process has been a gift and offered tremendous inspiration (and courage) on my own creative path.
